As a show rabbit, the Flemish Giant commonly ranges in weight from 14 to 20 lbs! They have soft, glossy, short and dense fur.
As a pet the Flemish Giant is extremely gentle and has great personalities. They are well tempered and when handled a lot from a young age they are calm and make great pets!

Flemish Giant Rabbits are great with other pets! They will cuddle, play and coexist with your other pets, regardless if it is a dog, cat, smaller rabbit... they are great company. Care should be used with any introduction to other rabbits.
Flemish Giants can cope with cold temperatures but they need to be watched for in the heat. They typically live from 5-10 years based on the care and diet given.
Like most other rabbit breeds you can train your Flemish Giant to use a litter box. This makes them ideal pets! They can roam your home or yard much like a dog or cat or you can opt to keep them in cages or caged off areas.
